Vicor to present the benefits of 48V power distribution and highly efficient power distribution networks with zonal architecture

It began in 1992 as a specialized exhibition of automobile technology for engineers and researchers active on the front lines of the automobile industry. It is held in Yokohama every year around May, and from 2014 it will also be held in Nagoya around July. It is the largest automotive technology exhibition in Japan.

In order to promote technological innovation in the automobile industry, not only manufacturers of two-wheel and four-wheel completed vehicles, but also parts manufacturers, body manufacturers, research institutions, automobile-related companies, universities, vocational schools, and technical high schools participate.

Seishi will explain the advantages and disadvantages of 48V power distribution, which has become a recent trend, and how to improve the efficiency of power distribution networks with zonal architecture.

Seishi Tsukimoto has over 20 years of research and development/design of DC-DC converters for industrial equipment, automotive, satellites and etc, and over 10 years of research and development of motor inverters. Since 2018, as a Senior Application Engineer at Vicor, Tsukimoto is mainly in charge of technical support for automotive.

Automotive Engineering Exposition is organized by The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE). It began in 1992 as a specialized exhibition of automobile technology for engineers and researchers active on the front lines of the automobile industry. It is held in Yokohama every year around May, and from 2014 it will also be held in Nagoya around July.
